Who doesn't like Shaider?
I decided to have this for my first toy review for the reason that I told my wife that if our house is on fire, and she could only grab one toy out of thousands in my collection, I told her to save my Shaider Blue Hawk out of all of them, and run out of the house as quickly as possible!

I can honestly say, Shaider is my all-time favorite character growing up.
Watching the show on weekend mornings and seeing how cool Shaider transforms and fights his enemies is one childhood memory I could never forget. Maybe it helped that his armor was colored blue, my favorite color!

Here are a few details about the Shaider Blue Hawk Bike:
Popinika: PC-45
Origin: Japan
Manufactured by: BANDAI Popinika
Release Date: 1984
Material : Die cast and plastic
Bike Length: 5.5 inches (nose to tail)
Figure: Approx. 2.0 inches (not poseable)
I was able to buy this from a fellow toy collector that is why the condition is not brand new...

The front shows the full image of the toy as well as some Japanese text with information about the toy.

The back side of the box shows how to open Shaider's Blue Hawk Wings, as well as the side and front view of the figure.
Not sure what the 'Computer Number' value of '0301010' in the lower side of the box, so if someone knows, let me know in the comments.
The bottom and the top side of the box shows Shaider riding the Blue Hawk Bike with open wings (he looks like to be travelling across the Time Space Warp, right?).
One side of the box, shows Shaider riding the Blue Hawk and another one Shaider posing beside the Blue Hawk Bike.
The other side of the box shows a front-side view of Shaider while riding the Blue Hawk Bike.

The Blue Hawk Bike is made with Chogokin (super alloy) material
Push the missiles inside the guns in front of the bike and wait for the clicking sound that to lock the missiles in place.

Three sections in the styrofoam container safely fits the Shaider figure, the Blue Hawk Bike and the missiles.

LET'S ASSEMBLE THE SHAIDER FIGURE AND BLUE HAWK FIGURE TOGETHER...
The Shaider figure is mostly plastic expcept on the hands, feet, and head which is rubber.
The 'BLUHAWK' label is clearly seen if the wings are folded.

Push the missiles inside the guns in front of the bike and wait for the clicking sound that to lock the missiles in place.

You can push the yellow buttons for the gun and it will release the missiles a good 5 feet.
The instruction label is shown on the sides that hitting the gas will ignite the booster and take the Blue Hawk Bike and Shaider out the Time Space Warp.
1. The figure is very rare as it is made only in the 1980s when the TV show was aired

Folding up the wings back to its original position and wait for the clicking sound will lock the wings.

LET'S DISCUSS THE RARITY...
2. The show is very popular in Japan as well as other countries the show was broadcasted (ex. Philippines, France and Brazil) so a lot of adult collector's like collecting Shaider toys and figures
3. There are only two toys that I know, that has Shaider riding the Blue Hawk, a small gashapon figure and this die cast by Bandai, so you have limited choice if you want a Blue Hawk figure. More details here: 4 Shaider Figures You Can Get Today To Start Your Shaider Collection
4. Very few of these figures go up for sale on online websites (once or twice a year) in mint condition because seldom are they sold by their previous owners.
HOW MUCH DOES THE FIGURE COSTS?
In my experience of toy hunting, the price of the Blue Hawk figure with box ranges from:

- $60 to $80 for a Shaider and Blue Hawk without a box in good condition
- $80 to $100 for a Shaider and Blue Hawk with a box in good condition
- $100 or more in a Shaider and Blue Hawk with a box in mint condition
- $80 to $100 for a Shaider and Blue Hawk with a box in good condition
- $100 or more in a Shaider and Blue Hawk with a box in mint condition
I believe the figure price will go up as the years go by since no new Blue Hawk figure is being released
